Wrap Up Your Brand: 5 Quick EOY Tips for a Fresh Start!

Getting Ready for 2025

I’ve got to be honest - there’s a piece of me that absolutely loves organizing, setting goals, and end of year planning… But I still suffer from the overwhelm that comes with this season. An insane list of things to do, gifts to buy, events to attend, people to see, projects to wrap up. Time is our greatest frenemy, after all.

So today we’re touching on 5 quick tasks that you can take to prepare your brand for 2025. Because we have a LOT on our plates and simple moves can still shift the needle towards our goals.

#1 - Update Your Website Footer

First things first—make sure your website has an automatically updating copyright footer. This little touch not only keeps your site looking professional but also saves you the hassle of manual updates each year. Here’s a simple code snippet you can use:

<footer>

<p>&copy; <script>document.write(new Date().getFullYear())</script> Your Brand Name. All rights reserved.</p>

</footer>

Just replace "Your Brand Name" with your actual brand name, and this code will automatically update the copyright year to the current one!

#2 - Update Your Contact Information

Next up, make sure all your contact information is current across your website and social media platforms. This small update can prevent missed reach outs and lost opportunities. Double-check phone numbers, email addresses, and physical locations - make sure you are showing up consistently across the board.

#3 - Refresh Your Social Media Profiles

Now, don’t forget about your social media presence - take some time to refresh your profile images and bios. Does the description you wrote years ago actually reflect your current direction and goals? Adjust it! This is a great way to ensure consistency and keep your followers engaged and in the know.

#4 - Update Your Testimonials

Testimonials, quotes from clients and customers that dig your stuff, are rad little tools for building trust and credibility with your tribe. Check in with your existing testimonials and add any recent feedback from clients or customers to show your latest wins.

Haven’t collected any new ones this year? Reach out to your happy clients and customers and ask if they’d be willing to provide a short testimonial. Who knows, maybe they’re riding the giving vibes of the season and would love to pass you a quick quote!

#5 - Organize Those Digital Files

Finally, organization comes back to the conversation! Take a quick 10 minutes to clean up and organize your digital workspace. Sorting through your files and folders that have gotten a bit chaotic and loosely sorted through the past year can leave you feeling fresh and ready to gain clarity in the new year.

Consider deleting outdated and unneeded files (tough stuff for a digital hoarder like myself). A tidy digital space will grant you a clearer mind and more productive workflow in 2025.
